PROJECT STORY
12-13 Greek Street Apartments involved 8no. affordable housing apartments and a hospitality unit at ground level in the heart of Soho, London. It formed part of the larger regeneration of Ilona Rose House which backs onto Greek Street.
The project involved converting a former office building with a listed façade into 8 new apartments to be managed by Soho Housing Association. The apartments provide much needed affordable housing in the heart of Soho for local workers.
DML's ROLE
DML's services were as development manager, project manager, design manager and quantity surveyor. We were first engaged on the role as part of the wider delivery of Ilona Rose House and managed the professional team through the planning process resulting in the successful award of planning consent.
This project invloved facade retention and new build structure. The shell and core was delivered under Construction Management procurement and fit out delivered under a traditional form of contract.
